I’m Thomas McTear, a Baltimore-based commercial photographer with over 9 years of freelance experience. My work is rooted in storytelling creating clean, authentic, and intentional images that reflect the character and professionalism of the people and organizations I work with.

 

I specialize in commercial education imagery for K–12 and higher education, medical photography for hospitals and healthcare institutions, industrial photography for large-scale enterprise, and lifestyle photography for brand and marketing campaigns. I also offer wedding coverage (locally and for destinations), event photography nationwide, and editorial-style portraits and environmental headshots for professionals and creatives.
